Resources
MISS Foundation
Offers support groups, counseling, peer mentors, retreats and trainings for bereaved families
If there was one resource I would access it would be the MISS Foundation. I was able to connect with them about two months after my child died. I was paired with a peer mentor who had suffered a similar loss which was a life line. I also attended several retreats at the Selah Care Farm for the traumatically bereaved.
Golden Willow Retreat
I attended the Loss of a Child Weekend Workshop with Dr. Ted Wiard. I found this to be one of the best workshops. Dr. Wiard is also a bereaved parent and offers so much wisdom and support.
Compassionate Friends
Offers local support groups for bereaved parents
