Private SessionsGrief Support for Bereaved Parents

Somatic resourcing, Trauma Regulation, and Art processes

“Grief is not a medical disorder to be cured. Grief is not spiritual crisis to be resolved. Grief is not a social woe to be addressed. Grief is, simply, a matter of the heart–to be felt.”–Dr. Joanne Cacciatore, Bearing the Unbearable: Love, Loss, and the Heartbreaking Path of Grief

I am honored to offer private grief support to bereaved parents at whatever stage of the journey you are on. Whether fresh loss or years later with a death anniversary or some unexpected grief wave, I am here to offer comfort, somatic processes, and art processes such as altar building, grief masks, and grief companion collage cards to help you hold your loss and create beauty out of your pain.

“We met Monique only a few months after our two year-old daughter died. Sharing the terrible wound of losing a child, she was one of the few people who could truly understand what we were feeling or not feeling at that time. I instantly appreciated her candor. She was sincere, open about her own experience, and didn’t walk on eggshells when inquiring about ours.

Nearly a year after our child’s death, we held a memorial that Monique officiated. She was, without a doubt, the only person suited for the job. She took care and initiative in planning for the event and made sure along the way that it was what we envisioned, and ultimately needed.

We are forever grateful to have met and gotten to know Monique over the past year. Her guidance in navigating our new lives as bereaved parents has been invaluable. She has been a gracious peer, a sage mentor, and above all, a dear friend.”–Eric
